What are Reciprocal Links?

Why Do Sites Use Reciprocal Links?

However, this strategy isn’t foolproof and you can’t just ask for a reciprocal link from anyone and expect positive results. There are a few things you should consider before entering into a reciprocal linking relationship. Another reason why sites employ reciprocal linking is to draw more traffic. If people are clicking on links to your website from other sites, you’re likely to convert those readers into customers. 

However, though reciprocal links can increate you search position, they are not the same strong as one-way links.
