What is PPC Marketing?

PPC, or pay-per-click marketing, is a type of internet advertising where you pay for each click on your ad. PPC marketing campaigns often show up at the top of search engine results pages (SERPs), which can be an excellent way to attract new customers. In fact, PPC marketing can be one of the most cost-effective ways to get new business. The main drawback is that it’s not always easy to know who will click on your ads and what they’ll do once they visit your site. If you’re new to online marketing, you’ve probably heard about PPC and might even have tried it out for yourself.

How Does a PPC Campaign Work?

There are three basic steps to creating and managing a PPC campaign: 

– Create your ad. Create your advertisement and select the appropriate campaign type (i.-e. text ad, social media ad, etc.). While there are some minor differences, the biggest difference between the different types of ads is their format. 

– Select your keywords and targets. Your ad will only show up on relevant searches. So before you can create your ad, you must select the keywords and targets that are most relevant to your business. 

– Manage your campaign. The last step is to monitor your campaign to make sure it’s running smoothly and that you’re getting the best ROI (return on investment).
