IREV is seeking a dynamic and innovative Social Media Manager/Public Relations Manager to join our growing team. As the Social Media Manager/Public Relations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media and public relations strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and a proven track record of driving engagement and brand awareness across various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and traffic.
- Create and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing and public relations.
- Manage and grow our social media communities by fostering meaningful interactions and building relationships with our target audience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all marketing channels.
- Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners to secure press coverage and partnerships.
- Prepare press releases, media kits, and other materials to support public relations initiatives.
- Monitor media coverage and respond to inquiries from the media in a timely manner.
- Manage crisis communications and reputation management efforts as needed.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for thought leadership and speaking engagements.
- Assist with other marketing initiatives and projects as needed.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field.
- 1+ year of proven experience in social media management and public relations, preferably in the technology or software development industry.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and creating compelling content.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive decision-making.
- Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to take initiative and drive results.
